The Convector Tong is designed to lift and handle annealing furnace covers, flanges, steel rings, convector plats etc. The tong is robustly engineered for heavy duty application to meet the high requirements of steel mills.
The tong is equipped with an automatic opening and closing device. The entire lifting process is controlled by the operator from the crane cabin, by placing the convector tong above the center of the load.

The suspension is compatible with standard crane hooks. It has a fixed bolt for a free hook lead-in, thus no ground personnel is needed. Customised suspensions are available on request
